Seasonality

Waiakoa Wildflowers highlights seasonality and revels in the spontaneity of nature’s abundance. By using flowers that are 100% locally grown and foraged, our designs are ultimately fresh, embodying the present moment.

Growing Together

Waiakoa Wildflowers is a small scale organic farm and floral design studio based in Kula, Hawaii. Sisters Zena and Tessa work together sharing their connection to one another and the natural world. In creative pursuits they stand side by side. As self taught Farmer-Florists, their vision has evolved since it began in 2014 after returning to their island home and the land where they were raised.

Foam Free Floral

At Waiakoa Wildflowers we choose to create innovative solutions for stunning foam free installations and arrangements. Our designs are 100% free of floral foam, as a way for us to reduce our waste and promote sustainability.

Upcycling

Second-hand treasure hunting is one of our favorite past times. We delight in finding ways to breathe fresh life into previously forgotten items. With our floral designs we do our best to use pre-loved vases. With our Lei Po’o and Floral Garlands we use hand made upcycled ribbon. Wherever we turn, we are constantly searching for new ways to reduce our carbon footprint.

Sustainability

We hold a deep love and respect for the earth. Our commitment to the natural world is the driving force for Waiakoa Wildflowers. With a mission to reduce our carbon footprint we do our best to provide beautiful locally grown chemical free flowers, fruit, herbs and eggs that are grown here in the Hawaiian Islands.
